No matter what your age, there is probably a cartoon character from when you or your children were little that left an indelible mark. One of those characters that comes back to you unexpectedly, making you laugh, dream, or repeat a few lines from an animated movie or series

In order to bring my characters alive in my performance, I come up with a world of possibilities for them.

Using the script, I travel to the worlds of my characters, appropriating their stories, values, and whims. In a perfect symbiosis, these male and female characters—created and honed in a lengthy creative process—transmit their energy so I can then use my voice to accompany their gestures in each scene.

The actress inside me accompanies my characters every step of the way. I delve into their personalities, imagining their movements as I navigate lines brimming with emotions. I make their texts come to life, well aware that each gesture, each pause and each change in tone gives my characters body and soul, defining them. Acting to give them meaning and purpose is one of my passions.

By training and caring for my voice and my body, I also assure that I am fit for each film and have the energy to tackle my character’s joy, troubles, and desires.

Did you know that voice recordings are the first step in an animated film? After the recording, the animation artists get to work, situating the characters in time and space in order for their stories to develop. I have embarked on great adventures by embodying characters like:

Plim plim (Plim Plim: A Heart’s Hero): voice of the endearing clown that both young and old adore. I’ve been recording his voice for over a decade for the TV series, Internet, promotions, music clips, and theater. I love sending birthday greetings to all my young fans. They are so appreciative and fill me with joy!

TV series Zamba: voice of Nina (previously “Niña”), who accompanies Zamba on all his adventures and gives him advice. Besides the TV series, there have been plays and musicals. This Argentine production has been a hit not just in the country but throughout Latin America.

Yo Pipoo: voices of Pipoo and the minotaur Greta. I was also the series casting director and voice director of this Argentine-Chilean co-production.
